Marjorie Malphrus is originally from Toledo, Ohio. Mrs. Malphrus attended Montclair State University in New Jersey where she received her BA degree in Music Education. She taught and freelanced in the NJ/NY area before enteringgrad school at. Bowling Green State University. After moving to SC in the 1990’s, she taught for many years in the Greenville County Schools; she is currently the Band Director forSt. Joseph's Catholic School. Mrs. Malphrus enjoys playing with the Upstate Winds and other freelance playing.
